Building and setting up a cleanroom is not one of the many jobs you can do yourself. It would help if you had a qualified cleanroom building manager and designer, like the skilled workers at Ziebaq.

It is common for cleanrooms to have HEPA filters installed to help provide clean air and improve contamination control. Air conditioning is expected to control the clean air so that workers are comfortable and the environment for your goods stays stable.

Medical, pharmaceutical, microelectronic, chip, and lab cleanrooms are essential. Standards govern the building of a cleanroom to ensure and uphold quality. The design of the cleanroom area will be based on what our buyers tell us they want.

Planning and consultation, installation, and cleanroom validation are all carefully managed at every process step. Ziebaq can even provide chairs for your cleanroom.

ISO 14464-1 describes cleanroom air quality based on particle count. It also requires a cleanroom with humidity, temperature, and pressure controls. It is essential that when building a cleanroom, particles don't get inside as much as possible. Ziebaq is a qualified and fully integrated business that creates and installs cleanrooms. They will take care of your project from start to finish to ensure it succeeds.

Here at Ziebaq, we fully understand how to create ventilation, heating, and air conditioning. We are also familiar with the special HVAC equipment that keeps the cleanroom at the right temperature, humidity, and pressure. Controlling airflow through the installed HEPA or ULPA filters optimises the air changes in your cleanroom. We even help you pick the correct particle size to measure in your laboratory. But we take care of everything.

The Ziebaq Cleanroom Construction Team

The Cleanroom Designer

The job of the cleanroom planner at Ziebaq is to plan and build a cleanroom without going over budget. Before building starts, our cleanroom planner will think about the following:

Which places need to be clean, and how clean do they need to be?
What is the best floor plan for building the cleanroom? Will it need more than one room? How clean do you think the gowning or anteroom needs to be?

  • Where are essential work areas located? How will the placement of airflow patterns, ULPA, or HEPA screens affect these areas?
  • Weather conditions, like temperature and humidity, in the clean room. Will the rule be changed in the future?
  • Heat loads are based on how much stuff is in the area and how many people are there.
  • Building supplies for walls, floors, and ceilings. Are they in line with what the process needs?
  • Above the roof, there must be room for HEPA or ULPA filter units, light troughs, and the necessary mechanical distribution system. If you want clean air to flow correctly through the space, you need to know the size and location of the air source, filters, and air return.

The Cleanroom Construction Process

Stage 0 – Regular Construction

Most builders know this stage. Ziebaq pays extra attention to housekeeping to ensure everything is spotless. Standard safety gear, such as vests, hard hats, and safety glasses, is required, but no material limits exist.

Stage 1 – Clean Construction

It's more important now to be clean. We use vacuums to clean up every hour and every day. There is no trash or other waste in the cleanroom. To keep dirt outside, we have sticky mats and many rugs.

Stage 2 – Pre-Cleanroom Construction

We control who can enter and exit the cleanroom and set up a smock room with an air cleaner. When workers enter the cleanroom, they have to put on booties and use sticky mats on the floor. We set up a HEPA cleaner for drilling and cutting in the cleanroom. We only turn on the air systems, not the cleaning fan units.

Stage 3 – Active Cleanroom Construction

It is tough to get through this time. It has some extra steps and protection for stage two. People must wear coveralls, lab coats, boots, hair nets, and gloves in the cleanroom. The flowing air system keeps the air clean all the time.
